I am a professional climbing guide and geologist who grew up between Oviedo and a small village in the mining basin of the Nalón River. From a young age, I developed a deep passion for nature and sports, which led me to pursue a degree in Geology. My love for mountains and rocks naturally drew me to rock climbing, where I was captivated by the challenges it presents and the respect it fosters for the environment and its history. For over 15 years, I have been climbing and traveling, continuously learning, and refining my skills and knowledge. I decided to train as a professional climbing guide to combine my passion for climbing with my expertise in geology. Climbing big walls brings me immense joy, and I am encouraged to opening new routes while honoring the climbing styles I admire.
My greatest motivation lies in sharing my love for the mountains, spreading my values, offering a geological perspective of the environment, and helping others improve and build confidence in climbing. Ultimately, I strive to inspire others to cherish and protect these natural spaces.
