I am originally from Ortuella, a village in the Basque Country, where I developed a love for nature and mountain activities from a young age. I spent my childhood exploring natural parks, climbing mountains, and learning basic climbing techniques in my hometown. This passion eventually led me to engage in mountaineering activities around the world, including big wall climbing in the Andes, ice climbing in Norway, and climbing in the Alps and Dolomites. I also ventured into canyoning in Madeira and further explored the Pyrenees and Picos de Europa. At some point, I decided to turn my passion into a profession and enrolled in a mountain guide school in Picos de Europa. Since then, I have dedicated myself to guiding and training others in mountaineering while also equipping and opening new climbing routes.
My main motivation is to share my love for the environment and mountaineering in a sustainable and respectful way, guiding and training those who wish to embrace this lifestyle.
